So I have been away with problems with CJ (Commission Junction) but everything is now fine and up again so I’ll start posting reguarly again.

It’s pretty much a place where you can outsource your work while having a record to keep track of your employees. It does something like record their screen every 10 minutes or so (I believe) allowing you to check on their progress. The rates there are pretty cheap but I personally never had a good feeling about outsourcing. I mean you’re pretty much giving away your niche and telling them exactly what to do that that has made you money.
Personally I have only outsourced once for 10 articles (not from Odesk) and 5/10 of the articles did not even pass Copyscape. Needless to say, I don’t really personally believe in outsourcing but if you do and are looking for a good cheap way to outsource while being able to track their progress, check out http://www.odesk.com.

We are thrilled with Gamefly. I signed up about a year ago after a friend told me about them They rent every game, all the new releases, and some games I didnt even knew existed. And games for every system, we have a wii, xbox360 and Nintendo DS and can rent games for all of them. They have a stock that must be like a costco filled with just games. For us $60 games is just not an option, but for the price of 3 new games we can rent from GF for a whole year and play 20-30 games in that time. Not only that it’s much easier to budget, and I don’t even need to think about it, games just come, and we send them back when we want.
I have read complaints about shipping, but we haven’t had any issues at all. Games arrive in about 2 days from our nearest ship center which is in PA. They have 4, CA,TX,FL & PA. I think a lot of the shipping complaints must be outdated because they used to have only 1 ship center.
Used games prices are extremely reasonable and you can buy the game your renting too. When a game comes along we do want to keep from gamefly they send a new box and manual out for it. The member benefits add discounts that increase the longer your a member.
We totally recommend gamefly any house that has gamers. Not only do we get to play all the games we want, we are now spending a lot less on games than we ever did without gamefly.

Well the brand new WordPress v2.8 came out today/yesterday. Like always, it’s coming with new features and bug fixes. The biggest change that will affect everyone is that WordPress is now even faster to use! Apparently they edited the code for the styling and scripting for even faster performance, which is always a great news to hear.
Other 2 notable new features include:
- You can now place two of the same widgets on the sidebar! Like, finally. This should’ve came with the first version, come on!
- You can now browse and download themes right from the admin area! How sweet is that? Save time from downloading, unzipping, uploading and then finally installing the theme. Now it’s just click and go.Pretty much this brand new version is great, like always but don’t expect it to be revolutionary like when 2.7 came out. It’s just minor fixes here and there and a few new features.

Here’s a great article on the latest changes on Google’s algorithm. The rel=”nofollow” aspect of it more specifically. This is a must-read if you consider yourself a webmaster of any sort!

The nofollow attribute for links has evolved from a way to fight blogspam to a power SEO tool. But its days in that capacity may be numbered, according to Matt Cutts, head of Google’s Web Spam team.
When it was first launched in January 2005, the nofollow attribute was described as a tool for site owners to identify potentially untrusted external links, such as blog comments. The idea was that search engine crawlers would not follow that link, not count it in calculating PageRank of the destination page, and not count the anchor text when determining relevant keywords for that page.
It soon morphed into a way for site owners to identify paid links. Proper use of the nofollow attribute was unclear, and Google tried several times to clarify the use of nofollow.
By 2007, advanced SEOs realized that the nofollow attribute could be used internally in PageRank sculpting. Using that process, the nofollow attribute is added to links to certain pages to prevent PageRank from flowing to those pages. The way it used to work, the PageRank that was saved from those links would be distributed among the other links on the page.
Here is where Google has changed the way it handles the nofollow attribute, according to Cutts.
This week at the SMX Advanced conference in Seattle, Cutts joined the discussion around nofollow during the duplicate content session. According to Outspoken Media’s Lisa Barone:
A debate broke out mid-session when Matt Cutts got involved about whether or not nofollow is still effective. Of course, as soon as it got hot, all search representatives got very tight lipped about who said what and what they really meant. As far as I could, Matt Cutts did NOT say that they ignore nofollow, but he DID hint that it is less effective today than it used to be.
Later, Cutts addressed the issue again in his You&A keynote. When asked about PageRank sculpting, Cutts said that it will still work, but not as well.
Basically, using nofollow will still prevent PageRank from passing from the linking page through the nofollowed link. But that PageRank is no longer “saved” to be used by other links on the page. It just “evaporates,” according to Cutts. Rand Fishkin at SEOmoz has some visual aids to help describe the process.
This change mainly affects those SEOs that have tried to optimize their pages using the nofollow tag for PageRank sculpting. It’s safe to say that most site owners have no idea what PageRank sculpting is, which is probable a good thing, since it can quite easily be done wrong and cause more problems than it solves.
A bigger problem arises for those who are using it for its original intention, blocking comment spam. Under the new rules, a blog post that allows URLs in comments will lose most of its “link juice,” since there will be many links on the page using up PageRank, but not passing it on. If there are two links in the post, and 98 links in the comments, the links within the article will be devalued, passing only 1/100th of the PageRank, instead of the 1/2 they used to pass.
Google has said all along that the benefits of PageRank sculpting may not be worth the time involved to do it. Cutts wrote on his blog last year, “if you design your information and site architecture well, it’s not something that you need to worry about at all…there’s an opportunity cost to sculpting and that the vast majority of people would get more benefit from spending their time working on making their site more compelling (so they got more links/PageRank) rather than obsessing about how to move around the PageRank that they have.”
So there you have it. As Cutts himself Twittered this morning: “Hey, did you hear our latest inside tip? Make relevant content. ;)”

Yep, you heard it here folks, the CB Quantuom by “DayJob Killer” and Andrew Fox completely blows. No this is not a marketing ploy that is trying to steal your attention by saying it’s a scam and then telling you that it’s actually pretty decent and that you should buy it. I’m saying it here and again, the Clickbank Quantum is such so bad and such a ripoff that it might as well be considered a scam.

This is not a “CB Quantum review”, I am simply stating the truth and hope I help save a few poor fellow’s money. For $997, Clickbank Q. is well, a laughable product. I mean if you don’t know what it is yet, take a look at it below (not an affiliate link)

Don’t get me wrong, the sales page is well designed and all but it is simply not worth your $997. For $997, all you get is 2 info products that you get resale rights to, “Affiliate X” and “Adwords Magic”. They call it the “Clickbank Business In A Box”. It sounds great, sounds like money on autopilot… if you’re an idiot and actually believe such that crap. No, I don’t mean making money on autopilot is fake, what I mean is if you believe that they’re giving you 2 products that’s supposedly made them over $500,000 and that you can actually resell them for tons of money (on autopilot), then you’re an idiot.
They’re giving the EXACT SAME 2 PRODUCTS to everyone who purchases CB Quantum and you think you can actually compete with all of them and make money on an old product? Ha.
The whole thing about CB Quantum is about resale rights. They say you can make tons of money off resale rights and they show you how much they’ve made with it (in the six figures). Now I have no doubt they have but the thing is that they’ve PURPOSELY FORGOT to mention 2 key items.
The 2 Key Items
1. You can only make good money off resale rights IF the original seller is a bad marketer and can’t get any sales for himself. The product would need to have been so badly advertised that no one has ever heard of it for you to stand a chance of competing with the original owner.
You would also need to outrank the original site for name of the product on the search engines (esp Google) which is pretty much IMPOSSIBLE* else you’re just promoting the product for the original owner. Imagine this: You get the product name out there and he gets the sales cause of the search engines. Sounds fair?

2. They’ve made so much money off of resale rights because THEY HAVE A HUGE DOUBLE OPT-IN EMAIL LIST. Now let me say that again “They’ve made so much money off of resale rights because THEY HAVE A HUGE DOUBLE OPT-IN EMAIL LIST“. Got it in your head? Good.
They make it sound so easy to promote your “second tier” resale rights product. That’s what I call it, a resale rights product sold by another person, “second tier”.
I mean, of course it’s easy for them to sell something when they have a list of thousands interested in what they’re going to sell. But the question here is do you? Do you have your own list of thousands of double opted-in subscribers ready to take out their credit card and spend it on an info product? If you do, please go ahead and buy CB Quantum and forget everything I’ve said so far. Else if you don’t, just save your thousand dollars and spend it on something else!
It’s easy for them cause all they have to do it set up a landing page, send out an email saying “blahblahblah, you must check it out! Also comes with these free bonuses worth over $1,000,000 (REAL VALUE)”. There, they’ve made sales. Now how will you make sales? Even if you got free bonuses and everything, how will you get your word out? PPC? You’re competing with everyone else that has the sale product with resale rights competing with you, don’t expect much of a return or any at all.
To find the real product value of these “Free Bonuses” by gurus, simply divide what they tell you it’s real value is, and divide it by around 465,073. There, that’s the real value of those “free crap” they’re giving you. If they say it’s worth $200, just divide 200 by 465,073 and you’ll get it’s real value aka shit, it’s worth shit*. If it’s even of any worth, you know for sure they’ll try to sell it to you some way or another. So another rule of the gurus you should understand -
If they’re not selling it to you, it’s worth crap cause you know they always try to sell you something.
I guess that’s about it for key #2, wow what a long explanation.

Conclusion
CB Quantum is all about resale rights and if you don’t have the 2 key items above, don’t bother purchasing it. Now I just want to say some things to clarify some points and to talk about points I’ve missed.
1. I just want to say this disclaimer that CB Quantum DOES have more to it than the 2 info products and the videos talking about “how to get resale rights product”, “how to buy a domain name”, “how to set up web hosting”, “how to joint venture with other people” and some other laughable videos. The other stuff that Clickbank Q. however are all still related to resale rights so they’re pretty much useless too.
2. For $997, CB Quantum is a scam (to me at least). Read #3.
3. There are much much better info products out there that will actually help you make money for MUCH less. For example, one of my personal favorites – Commission Blueprint. It’s a best selling product and with good reasons too. You can now try it and download everything for only $5! Go check it out, there’s not much to lose plus you’ll love it (I guarantee it).
4. For $97, you can get a “blackhat” backlink building tool that will actually boost your site’s rankings and daily visitors. Check it out at http://www.WordpressCommenter.com. I highly recommend this tool.
5. Get both the Commission Blueprint and WP Commenter Script and use the rest of the money you’ve saved from not buying CB Quantum on a Father’s Day gift for yourself or your father. You know you or your dad deserves it =)
Final Conclusion
Please note that I am not a hater of the “DayJob Killer” and/or Andrew Fox, I simply do not like this new product of theirs. I have nothing against them or anything and this is not a bias review. The products that I’ve recommended are truthfully and honestly recommended by me. I’ve used them both and still use WP Commenter til this day.
Other Note: I am probably going to spend some money on Adwords to get the word out about “CB Quantum” so it’d help if you guys bought the 2 recommended products (if you’re going to buy them) from my links on this page. That’ll help me offset the cost from Adwords.
That’s all I have to say I guess. Help me get the word out about CB Quantum being a scam by writing about this post and dropping me a link on your blog(s), I’d appreciate it.

So I was wandering through some random wordpress blogs for my WordPress Commenter and I stumbled upon Today.com. Apparently it allows you to start up your own WordPress blog for free, in fact they even pay you to start a free blog with them.
They’ll pay you a flat CPM rate (which means they’ll pay for every 1000 impressions) and they’ll also give you rev-share on products sold through your blog. It’s actually a great way for people who don’t already have their own hosting and/or domain to publish their own blog(s) on. Plus they’ll take care of all the monetization so you don’t have to worry about making sales and getting clicks for your own blog. You just bring the traffic and they’ll take care of the rest.
Overview: I’ve looked over at some of the blogs at Today.com and they actually look decent. They’re making money with adsense and banner sales which is how they’re paying you a flat CPM from. The banners probably don’t get any clicks at all but who cares, they’re paying you CPM from banner sales.
I’m not really sure how much of the rev-share you’re getting but I’ll assume it’s 50% like some of the other big players out there (Squidoo for ex). Since banner sales go for $4.99-$9.99 per 1000 impressions, I’ll assume they’ll pay you around $2.50 per 1000 impressions on your blog. Which is not bad, that’s more than the Adsense I’ve stuck on this site (haha).
For the domain names, you’ll get a subdomain name for your own blog(s) – blahblahblah.today.com, abcdef.today.com etc.
Pretty much if you haven’t got/started your own blog yet, there’s pretty much no excuse to not start one today.
Now go, it’s free AND they pay you.

So hmm… today I’ve checked 3 of my sites and realized they’ve all lost a ton of backlinks. Now I’m checking them through Yahoo and 2 of my sites lost 100+ backlinks which dropped them both from rank 1 on the first page of Google to somewhere into page 2.
Did Yahoo change it’s algorithm? Can’t be cause the my results are dropping from the Google search engine.
Hmm… something’s up and now I gotta find out what it is. In the meantime gotta also grab some more backlinks for the 2 sites that dropped off. They were decent autopilot sites.
Now if anyone knows what’s going on, let me know – thanks.
Is it the decrease of counting Social Media as backlinks?? Hmm =/
