Blogging For Money Without The Startup CostBy Jing Jun Ma on May 31, 2009 | 1 Comment
So I was wandering through some random wordpress blogs for my Wordpress Commenter and I stumbled upon Today.com. Apparently it allows you to start up your own Wordpress blog for free, in fact they even pay you to start a free blog with them.
They’ll pay you a flat CPM rate (which means they’ll pay for every 1000 impressions) and they’ll also give you rev-share on products sold through your blog. It’s actually a great way for people who don’t already have their own hosting and/or domain to publish their own blog(s) on. Plus they’ll take care of all the monetization so you don’t have to worry about making sales and getting clicks for your own blog. You just bring the traffic and they’ll take care of the rest.

Overview: I’ve looked over at some of the blogs at Today.com and they actually look decent. They’re making money with adsense and banner sales which is how they’re paying you a flat CPM from. The banners probably don’t get any clicks at all but who cares, they’re paying you CPM from banner sales.
I’m not really sure how much of the rev-share you’re getting but I’ll assume it’s 50% like some of the other big players out there (Squidoo for ex). Since banner sales go for $4.99-$9.99 per 1000 impressions, I’ll assume they’ll pay you around $2.50 per 1000 impressions on your blog. Which is not bad, that’s more than the Adsense I’ve stuck on this site (haha).
For the domain names, you’ll get a subdomain name for your own blog(s) – blahblahblah.today.com, abcdef.today.com etc.
Pretty much if you haven’t got/started your own blog yet, there’s pretty much no excuse to not start one today.
Now go, it’s free AND they pay you.

Contact Me Form FixedBy Jing Jun Ma on May 18, 2009 | No Comments
The contact me form is finally fixed! I’ve been wondering why I’ve been getting no more emails from anyone.
The form is updated and actually works now (after months of being broken). Don’t worry, I’ve tested the form myself and it seriously works (omg no way!)
So if you got any thing you want to ask me, talk to me about, wondering or simply got something to say, just hit me up and I’ll get back to you ASAP.
P.S. If that form somehow doesn’t work again… just send me an email directly at jingjun @ endlesscorner.com – without the spaces.

Yep well I honestly only got six article directories that I submit my articles to. However they’re all PR4+ and you can even earn money with some of them! Three of them to be exact… Bukisa, Associated Content and ArticleDashBoard.
If anyone else got any article directories they’d like to recommend, let me know below! I’ll add the sites on #7-#10 and give you credit for it along with a backlink to your site on this page. Do-follow of course.

Losing 100+ Backlinks In One Day?By Jing Jun Ma on May 15, 2009 | No Comments
So hmm… today I’ve checked 3 of my sites and realized they’ve all lost a ton of backlinks. Now I’m checking them through Yahoo and 2 of my sites lost 100+ backlinks which dropped them both from rank 1 on the first page of Google to somewhere into page 2.
Did Yahoo change it’s algorithm? Can’t be cause the my results are dropping from the Google search engine.
Hmm… something’s up and now I gotta find out what it is. In the meantime gotta also grab some more backlinks for the 2 sites that dropped off. They were decent autopilot sites.
Now if anyone knows what’s going on, let me know – thanks.
Is it the decrease of counting Social Media as backlinks?? Hmm =/

The New Kindle DXBy Jing Jun Ma on May 13, 2009 | No Comments
Well it’s been over a week now that the brand new Kindle DX has been announced (I think). Brand new reading device from Amazon costs $489, a $130 jump from the Kindle 2. Is it worth it?

Personally I think that the price is quite hefty considering that it has only some minor improvements. Improvements include having a wider screen from 6inch to 9.7inch, an auto screen rotation feature also found in the Apple iTouch/iPhone series and a bigger hard drive (from 1,500 books to 3,500). This new version will still come with the free lifetime 3g internet access that it’s predecessor has been praised for.
Do I think this is worth the extra $130? Not exactly but I still couldn’t help myself from wanting to preorder one. It looks great, you’ll be able to read newspapers and magazines much easier and also the mention of cheaper textbooks. Apparently Amazon is trying to target College students with the DX and the results are still unclear since the price of textbooks on the Kindle is still in the midst.

Get A Free PR10 Backlink!By Jing Jun Ma on May 4, 2009 | 12 Comments
Sike! Well… actually not really. There was recently someone selling the secret (for like $15) to getting a free PR10 to blow your competitions out of the water and well, I got it so I’m sharing it here!
I don’t actually believe it works but it takes only a minute so there’s not really anything to lose – try it yourself.
http://www.google.com/profiles
Yep, a backlink from Google itself. I’m quite skeptical of this of course but I am skeptical of everything so… ya… let me know what you think!

There’s actually 2 ways to put your links there and if this is a loophole (I doubt it), Google will close it soon.
There might actually be a few great ways to make money online with this… I’m gonna go test it, lemme know what you guys think about this below.

Digitalpoint Co-op Advertising Network = BAD! Stay Away!By Jing Jun Ma on May 1, 2009 | No Comments
So if you don’t know, Digitalpoint has a co-op advertising network which is just a glorified way of saying link exchange. I read somewhere that it’s actually good and worth the time but that was a long time ago, before Google started cracking down.

If you don’t want to take my word on it, just check out EndlessCorner.com. I’ve tried the coop network for 2 weeks (?) and now I think this site is stuck at PR0 forever.
I know there’s still some people using the co-op network but that’s just cause they’re using it to spam their parasite sites and what not… oh… maybe the Advertising Network isn’t useless afterall…
