[NEW YORK - Wednesday] - by Devon Melk. Rumors are now running amok that the number 1 most used search engine on the entire World Wide Web may file BANKRUPTCY, with the deadline set for this December.

This would come as a SHOCK to investors and “Googlers” alike who both profit and beneit from the use of the world’s largest and most powerful search engine. Google.com receives far in the excess of 100 MILLION unique visitors and over over 300 million searches a day.

But is the rumor true or false?

The origin of the rumor started when some savvy internet marketers began making statements that they had heard “insiders’ talk” that the company may face a huge financial blow with the release of a “new system”. The new system would apparently allow advertisers to get their otherwise costly pay-per-click (PPC) advertising completely free.

This, of course, would naturally lead directly to the collapse of Google’s Adsense program, which is the backbone of many publishers and advertisers alike. Google (publicly traded since April 30, 2004), will also lose billions in revenue every year if their Adsense program were to wilt away.

The “new system” responsibly for the controversy over getting AdWords pay-per-clicks free is developed by Dr Jon Cohen of New York City, New York. He is now retired after discovering a simple, yet effective means, for getting Google PPC ads absolutely free.

The retired New York doctor and native now have a net worth in the excess of $70 million USD. He generated over $377 million in product sales from sixteen (16) separate online businesses within just nine (9) years.

It is estimated by company insiders and financial analysts that the “good doctor” has supposedly saved well over $93 million (some estimates suggest closer to $136 million) in otherwise paid advertising at Google and other major advertisement networks – including Yahoo, MSN, AskJeeves, AltaVista, Lycos and Netscape.

The “secret” became available to the general public last April, and its very release caused a major stir among the community of internet-marketers, affiliate-marketers, webmasters, eCommerce company owners and surfers alike. Within months, the site quickly rose to break the top 1,000 most visited websites on the entire planet, as can be seen here:

When Dr Cohen was asked if the “secret” would destroy Google, he revealed that it would actually bring about the opposite effect and stimulate even more business volume for the virtual giant.

Many people were dismayed over the fact that Google itself is deliberately allowing the purchases of hundreds of thousands of pay-per-click (PPC) ads offering the secret system to the public. It would indicate that either Google haven’t caught it yet, or they simply feel that it is not a threat to their billion dollar business.

To dismiss anyone’s doubt and disbelief, hard evidence supporting this can easily be seen simply by doing a search for “get google ads free” at Google.com.

One would think that if Google felt threatened by such a release as this “secret” is, they would disallow paid ads to be on the top searches regarding it.

Mysteriously, within just two (2) hours of its initial release last April, Google itself actually did in fact “pause” the company’s attempts at advertising the new system using AdWords on their search engine. Only, however, to release the grip after a Review Team consisting of Google’s top executives completed performing an comprehensive investigation and decided to ALLOW the ads to continue.

The secret system was recently revised however, boasting of including “major new content” and “more extensive instructions”, and is now available at its home site:

The most important major new addition is that of a so-call HTML code that can be added to any webpage(s) that will instantly eliminate the page owner’s AdWords expense.

Even a “live” woman spokes-representative(“Rachel”) has been added to the site, who appears to literally walk out onto the webpage and talk to visitors and explain more on how the mysterious new breakthrough system works.

Since the appearance of this “live” new spokes-woman, company Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Mr Todd Coutrin states that "sales for the system have skyrocketed above 2,430% suddenly and with no limit in sight."

When asked, Google company representatives stated that rumors of bankruptcy for the eCommerce giant are simply rumors, and that it is brought on by the usual hysteria associated with anything large, new or revolution – or in this case, all.

Attempts to contact both Sergey Brin and Larry Page, the former Stanford University students who founded Google back in 1998, to request comments were unsuccessful.

Again, Google itself seems to be the biggest supporter of this “new system” as it’s allowing more and more advertisers to promote the new system on its search engine before over 100 million daily visitors.
