Well I’ve been scratching my head for the past 2 months now on why I had a PR drop from 2 to 1 when I thought EndlessCorner was going to get raised to PR 3. Then 2 days ago, it hit me.

It was SO obvious, I had a link that said “Get Featured Here For $5/Month”.

I was selling links and Google HATES sites that sell links. So now I will no longer be offering the option of purchasing a paid link on my sidebar.

I just need to update my Advertisement page now to go with the new theme/template and remove the paid links section.

Anyway, Google I want my PR back now – kthx.

So my advice is to stop following those more popular sites who sell links BLATANTLY – they seem to get away with stuff we can’t.

P.S – Oh, and my Alexa rank is slowly recovering too – yay.
