ShareAPic – The Image-Sharing Site That Pays
-
So recently I’ve stumbled upon a site that pays YOU to upload and share your pictures. For those of you who use ImageShack or PhotoBucket, they are literally STEALING from you. Why upload pictures and let the image-hosting company take 100% of the profit when you can switch over to Share-A-Pic and get paid for it?!
What Is ShareAPic?
From Their Own Site:
Shareapic is a free service that allows its users to upload and host images on our servers. What makes us different from the rest? Shareapic has a unique revenue sharing model that compensates users for directing their friends and family to see their hosted images. When a member hosts a gallery, they can then show this gallery to others. Each time this is done, the member is paid.
From Me:
What I believe makes ShareAPic unique is the fact that they found out that in order to beat the Image-Hosting giants such as ImageShack and PhotoBucket, they needed to do something different. Although not an unique concept, revenue sharing is new to the Image-Hosting business.
You simply upload pictures and they’ll pay you $1.00 per 4,500 image views. That doesn’t sound like a lot, however your images will remain on the web longgg after you’ve uploaded them, generating you a long term revenue after you’ve uploaded a decent amount of pictures.
How Much Can I Earn?
You won’t get rich doing this but it will put some extra money in your paypal account (and who doesn’t like extra money?). Earnings will vary depending on users, some people get their first payout(over $20) within a month, others take 2 or 3. A few have already made over $1,000 and some make a few hundred a year.
How Will I Get Paid?
They currently only pay through Paypal.
Where Can I Share My Pictures?
You can pretty much share your pictures anywhere, the site gives you the entire code to copy and paste whether you want to post it on a forum, personal blog, or social networking site.
Share your pictures
# ~on any social networking site – Xanga, Myspace, Facebook, Friendster etc.
# ~on your own blog/site – Blogger, Wordpress etc.
# ~on forums your involved in.
# ~through email. If you’re interested in learning more about ShareAPic, head over to their site now.
