Now you probably have heard of this term before if you are a true online marketer – “The money’s in the list.” Now if you don’t know what this means, it basically means that having your own list of prospect emails is one of the easiest ways to internet riches. Now not any plain email list will work, so don’t go randomly grab a list of millions off the internet and spam the **** out of it cause it won’t work (plus it’s illegal).

The secret to earning money from a list is to have targeted opted in subscribers. Think about this – what’s the point of trying to sell things such as shoes to an email list of dentists? Sure you might sell one or two to a list of thousands but if you have a list of subscribed shoe lovers, you’ll probably get high conversion rates on every email.

By having opted in subscribers, they will NOT mark your messages as spam ensuring your future mailings will not land in other people’s SPAM folder. That is something you do NOT want to happen, each mail read is MONEY in your pockets and we all know we’re here for money. Why have a potential customer buy only 1 thing from you when you can sell him stuff over and over throughout the years to come?

Now there are many auto responder scripts and softwares out there that claim to set you up with an one time fee low cost solution but trust me, they DO NOT WORK! No of course they send out the mail and everything, the problem is does your server/webhost have the capacity or let you send out thousands of mail within minutes? The answer is usually NO.

Not unless you pay hundreds for a dedicated server every single month and even then, you have to make sure that you comply with the “CAN SPAM Act” else your just going to be put into jail.
